Terms and conditions

Payment

A non-refundable booking fee of 20% is required to secure your wedding date. Your booking is not confirmed until this payment has been received.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than seven days before your wedding.

Cancellation

If you cancel your booking, the 20% booking fee is non-refundable as it secures your date and 

covers the administrative work and preparation carried out before your wedding. Any additional work completed before cancellation, where applicable, may also be chargeable.

Rescheduling

Requests to change your wedding date are subject to Dayglow Moments’ availability. If we’re 

available on your new date, your booking fee can be transferred. If we’re unavailable, the booking will be treated as a cancellation and the booking fee will be retained.

Travel

Travel is included up to 50 miles from TQ11. 45p per mile will be charged outside of this area.

Hours of coverage

The start and finish time will be agreed in advance of the wedding day by the couple and Dayglow Moments.

Additional hours are charged at £105 per hour.

Overtime is subject to availability.

Delivery times

Dayglow Moments aims to deliver your content within 24–48 hours of your wedding. This includes all agreed deliverables unless otherwise specified.

If additional time is required to complete any edited content, this will be communicated to you and agreed in writing. While we always endeavour to deliver your content within the stated timeframe, occasional delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. Should this happen, we'll keep you updated on your revised delivery date.

Content ownership and usage

Dayglow Moments retains the copyright to all content created. Couples receive a personal, non-commercial licence to use, download and share their content across personal social media and with family and friends.

Permission to share

Unless requested otherwise, Dayglow Moments may use photographs and video content from your wedding for marketing purposes, including social media, our website and portfolio. If you would prefer for your wedding not to be shared, please email me at steph@dayglowmarketing.com in advance of your wedding day.

Supplier delays or schedule changes

Dayglow Moments cannot be held responsible for missed moments due to delays outside our control, including late-running ceremonies, venue restrictions or changes to the agreed schedule.

Guest interference

Dayglow Moments is not responsible for missed content where guests, suppliers or venue restrictions prevent filming or photography.

Technical issues

While every reasonable precaution is taken, in the unlikely event of equipment failure, corruption of files, illness or circumstances beyond our control, liability is limited to the amount paid by the client.

Force majeure

Dayglow Moments shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under this agreement where such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to, severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flooding, accidents, illness or injury, pandemics, government restrictions, transport disruption, power or internet outages, venue closures or any other unforeseen event that makes it impossible or unsafe to provide the agreed services.

Where possible, Dayglow Moments will notify the couple as soon as reasonably practicable and make every effort to find a suitable solution, including rescheduling the services where appropriate. If performance of the contract becomes impossible due to a force majeure event, neither party shall be liable for any resulting loss beyond any payments already made under this agreement.

Illness and emergency

In the unlikely event that Dayglow Moments is unable to attend your wedding due to serious illness, injury or another unforeseen emergency, every reasonable effort will be made to arrange a suitable replacement content creator. If a replacement cannot be found, all monies paid, including the booking fee, will be refunded in full. Dayglow Moments' liability shall be limited to the total amount paid under this agreement.

Food break

If Dayglow Moments are covering an event for 6 or more hours, a meal and soft drink should be provided during the wedding breakfast or another suitable break.

Safe working environment

We reserve the right to stop working if subjected to abusive, threatening or unsafe behaviour.

Editing style

Clients acknowledge they have viewed Dayglow Moments' previous work and accept that editing style and creative decisions are at our discretion.
